Category Banner Images
After much experimentation, we have chosen to use solid blue banners (highlighted in pink below) with text that can change by language for the landing page sections. This helps keep the landing page shorter, allowing more products to show, and it also makes the landing page more cohesive in look and feel as Kyani.com.
The image for the PROMOTIONS category can be customized to highlight promotions and savings activities for SKUs appearing in that category.
Note that you can upload a default image in the main category detail page. If an image is uploaded in the TRANSLATIONS section of the category detail page, it will override the default image loaded.
Image Sizes
Desktop Image Dimensions: 1146 x 80 pixels
Mobile Image Dimensions: 769 x 251 pixels
The key word in each category name is bolded, while any remaining words are normal.
You can adjust the height of the images, but should keep the width (1146 px OR 769 px) consistent. If you make the images too tall, note that it will take longer for the user to scroll down the landing page and they will see less content upon arriving on the landing page.
Create a banner for each category that you would like to show on your Landing Page, using the Adobe Illustrator template below, then follow the Landing Page Tutorial for instructions on uploading the images.
